Welcome to our new website!
Please update your favourites and bookmarks as we have a slightly different address - we're now .org rather than .com to reflect our intention of becoming a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. Emails to both our members and non-members mailing lists now come from [email protected], so you might need to add this to your safe email list to avoid them getting dumped in your junk folder. Choir folk might be worried that there's not a members area on this website. Never fear! I'm in the process of developing members resources so until it's ready I'll continue to email you links to helpful midis and recordings. We'll use this blog to keep the choir and wider community up to date with committee news, performance information and the like, but if you fancy blogging us about the choir or other local activities, we'd love to hear from you so please drop me an email! In December we bade a fond farewell to James Batty, our accompanist for over two years, and we're now looking for someone to take over as rehearsal pianist - could it be you?
We rehearse on Tuesday nights 7.30-9.30 at Harris Primary Academy, Philip Lane N15 4AB. The choir is led by Musical Director Nicki Williamson, has a varied and eclectic repertoire and a membership of more than 70 local people. We have fantastic links within the local community and perform regularly. Remuneration for the position will be £20 an hour. If you are interested, please email [email protected] with your CV. |
